About Our Ministry

On March 25, 1973, Dr. Jeannette C. Holmes-Vann repented and accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, and subsequently received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It was evident that the call of God was upon her life as she shared the love of Christ and her anointed testimony. As she continued to share fervently this Good news of the Gospel, many like her were won over to the same faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thus, Hope Chapel Ministries was born.

The ministry, which was initially referred to as Unity, Prayer, Bible, and Mission Outreach, started in the basement of her home and continued there for approximately 5 years before moving into the garage. As the ministry continued to show tremendous growth, it was necessary to use various community centers for specific events. Our first building was erected in 1981. It is now referred to as our Fellowship Hall. Today the ministry has expanded to multi-million dollar facilities that include a Children's Church, Sanctuary, renovated Fellowship Hall, and a private non-chartered Christian School.

The ministry, which started out with seven (7) members, experienced remarkable rapid growth. It embraced people and various races, and nationalities.

Our Vision and Mission

We envision a place where, at an early age, boys and girls can hear and understand the Word of God at their level, respond to it, and thereby repent and receive Christ as their personal Savior.

We envision debt free property, consisting of beautifully designed and landscaped facilities that will accommodate our various ministry needs and also provide peaceful, inspiring and safe ministry environments. The facilities are designed to minister to the total man - spiritually, physically, socially, and mentally and include but are not limited to: an educational complex, including a K-12 private school, complete with gymnasium; a fully accredited Bible college; housing communities; radio and television stations; a conference and retreat center; a rehabilitation facility; an entrepreneurial training center and office complex; a shopping center; and a youth activity building.

We believe that this vision will surely come to pass for it is inspired by God and it is all for His Glory.
